Teams Tab of Team Codes Form

Use the Teams tab to set up combinations of subcodes that represent valid teams.

Depending on the structure of your teams, you may have up to five subcodes in each team code.

Grid

Field Description
Drop-down

Click the drop-down arrow on a grid header to complete any of the following actions:

  • To print grid data, click Print. On the Print Preview form, click File > Print to send the grid data to your default printer.
  • To export grid data to an Excel spreadsheet, click Export to Excel. When Microsoft Excel opens, use its features to modify, print, or email the grid data, or to save the spreadsheet file locally.
  • To turn on grouping for a grid, click Enable Grouping. When a field displays with the instruction: "Drag a column header here to group by that column," drag and drop column headers into the field, in the sequence that you want them to display.

Not all options are available on all grids.

Insert Click this option to insert an team on the Teams grid. An empty row is inserted below the current position of the row selector.
Copy Click this option to copy the current team's data. The data is copied in its entirely to the row below. Modify the team's information to create a new team.
Delete Select an team and click this option to remove the record.
<Level 1> Select the subcode for Level 1 of the team code. The drop-down list contains the valid subcodes that you set up for Level 1 on the Subcodes tab.
<Level 2> Select the subcode for Level 2 of the team code. The drop-down list contains the valid subcodes that you set up for Level 2 on the Subcodes tab.
<Level 3> Select the subcode for Level 3 of the team code. The drop-down list contains the valid subcodes that you set up for Level 3 on the Subcodes tab.
<Level 4> Select the subcode for Level 4 of the team code. The drop-down list contains the valid subcodes that you set up for Level 4 on the Subcodes tab.
<Level 5> Select the subcode for Level 5 of the team code. The drop-down list contains the valid subcodes that you set up for Level 5 on the Subcodes tab.
Name Enter a name for the team.
Status From the drop-down list, select one of the following values:
  • Active — The team is currently used. This is the default status for all team subcodes and team combinations.
  • Inactive — The team is not currently used and is not available on the list of active teams that displays on the team lookup. When you select this option, it removes the team from the list of active teams that displays on the team lookup, but the team remains in GovWin Capture Management to report on history.
  • DormantTeams that are dormant are currently not used. You cannot assign new employees, contracts, vendor/partners, or other records to these teams.
