General Tab of Marketing Campaign Info Center

Use the General tab to enter, edit, or review the information on a marketing campaign. The tab includes linked fields so that you can specify the campaign's team members.

Field Description
Name Enter the name of the marketing campaign.
Number Enter a number in this field to identify the marketing campaign record.

If you configure GovWin Capture Management to use the automatic numbering feature, you cannot enter a number in this field. Instead, [AUTONUMBER] displays in this field.

When you select an existing record, GovWin Capture Management populates this field with the selected record's number.

Description Click Edit to access the Text Editor and enter a descriptive title for the marketing campaign. This description displays in lookup lists.
Team Enter the name of the team in your firm to which this marketing campaign belongs. Teams are discrete business units within your company. You can set up teams by region, function, responsibility, or any other method.

You can enter an team name directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature to select an team from your database, or click Search and use the Team Lookup.

This field displays if your firm uses GovWin Capture Management Teams.

Contract Enter the promotional contract associated with the marketing campaign. You can enter a promotional contract name directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature to select a promotional contract from your database, or click Search and use the Contract Lookup.

To link the contract records of contracts awarded to your firm as a result of this marketing campaign, use the Contracts Tab instead.

Target Audience Use this drop-down list to select the market segment to which the campaign is directed, such as CFOs, Marketing and Sales, or Capture Managers. You define target audience options in Code Table Configuration.
Objective Use this drop-down list to select the goal of the campaign. You define objective options in Code Table Configuration.
Type Use this drop-down list to select the type for the marketing campaign. You define type options in Code Table Configuration.
Budget Enter the total amount budgeted for the campaign.
Actual Costs If you do not use Accounting, or you have not associated a promotional contract with the campaign using the Contract field on this tab, you can enter an amount in this field. GovWin Capture Management saves it to the database.

If your security role does not have access to Labor Cost Rates/Amounts, No Access displays in this field.

Revenue Target Enter the amount of revenue your firm seeks to generate from the campaign.
Campaign Manager Enter the name of the employee who is the Campaign Manager for the marketing campaign.

You can enter a name directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature to select an employee from your database, or click Search to use the Employee Lookup.

When you enter an employee name in this field, GovWin Capture Management creates a hyperlink between the employee name and the corresponding Employee Info Center record.

Click the name to open the record in the current browser window or right-click the name and then click the Open in new window option to open the record in a separate browser window.

Marketing Manager Enter the name of the employee who is the Marketing Manager for the marketing campaign.

You can enter a name directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature to select an employee from your database, or click Search to use the Employee Lookup.

When you enter an employee name in this field, GovWin Capture Management creates a hyperlink between the employee name and the corresponding Employee Info Center record.

Click the name to open the record in the current browser window or right-click the name and then click the Open in new window option to open the record in a separate browser window.

Manager 3 If you have an additional manager working on this campaign, enter that employee's name in this field.

You can enter a name directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature to select an employee from your database, or click Search to use the Employee Lookup.

When you enter an employee name in this field, GovWin Capture Management creates a hyperlink between the employee name and the corresponding Employee Info Center record.

Click the name to open the record in the current browser window or right-click the name and then click the Open in new window option to open the record in a separate browser window.

Record Status Use this drop-down list to specify whether the marketing campaign record is active (the default) or inactive.

Campaign Status

Use these fields to enter information about the campaign's status.

Field Description
First Action Use this drop-down list to select the first action in the campaign, such as Campaign Kickoff or Initial Campaign Meeting. You define action options in Code Table Configuration.
Current Action Use this drop-down list to select the current action in the campaign. You define action options in Code Table Configuration.
Next Action Use this drop-down list to select the next action in the campaign. You define action options in Code Table Configuration.
Status Use this drop-down list to select the current status of the campaign. You define status options in Code Table Configuration.
Launch Date Click Calendar to open a pop-up calendar and select the campaign's launch date.
End Date Click Calendar to open a pop-up calendar and select the campaign's ending date.

Campaign Results

Use these fields to enter information about the campaign's results.

Field Description
Universe Enter the total number of firms targeted by the campaign.
Actual Responses GovWin Capture Management populates this field with the sum of the following:
  • The total number of leads on the Leads tab of the campaign record
  • The total number of contacts on the Contacts tab of the campaign record
Response Percent GovWin Capture Management populates this field with the quotient of Actual Responses divided by Universe. This figure is updated as leads and contacts are added to or deleted from the campaign record.
Converted Customers GovWin Capture Management populates this field with the total number of leads that are converted to customers, and whose Lead Info Center records list this campaign on their Marketing Campaigns tab.
Converted Contacts GovWin Capture Management populates this field with the total number of leads that are converted to contacts, and whose Lead Info Center record lists this campaign on their Marketing Campaigns tab.
Opportunities GovWin Capture Management populates this field with the total number of leads that are converted to opportunities, and whose Lead Info Center records list this campaign on their Marketing Campaigns tab.
Awarded Contracts GovWin Capture Management populates this field with the total number of contracts listed on the Contracts tab of this campaign record.
