Create a Contract Template

Use the Contract Templates area of General Configuration to create a contract template.

To create a contract template:

  1. From the GovWin Capture Management Navigation menu, click Configuration > General > Contract Templates.
  2. On the Contract Templates form, complete one of the following actions:
    Option Description
    To create a new template from scratch Click New > New Contract Template.
    To create a template that is similar to an exiting template Select the template and click New > Copy Current Contract Template. You can then edit the copied template to create a new contract template.
    To create a template that is similar to an existing contract record or another contract template (not currently open) Click New > Create Contract Template from Contract and select the contract. You can then edit the copied contract or template to create a new contract template.
  3. Complete or modify the fields on the tabs. The tabs and fields found in the Contract Info Center, with the exception of the Contract Management tab, are the same tabs and fields found in Contract Template Configuration. See the field descriptions in the Info Center help.
  4. If this contract has phases, click New > New Phase or New > Create Phase from and complete the appropriate fields.
  5. If this phase has tasks, click New > New Task or New > Create Task from and complete the appropriate fields.
  6. Click Save.
