Convert Phase Number Formats

Use the Key Convert Phase Format utility to reformat the length, delimiter, or delimiter position for your phases.

When you install GovWin Capture Management, the default work breakdown structure (WBS) has only the contract level (WBS 1 level). If you also want the option to use the phase level (WBS 2 level), use this utility to specify the phase number length and other format information.

If you activate the phase level and later decide that you want to deactivate it system-wide, contact Deltek Customer Care for guidance. The process for removing a WBS level can be complicated and labor intensive.

Prerequisite: Back up your GovWin Capture Management database.

To reformat phases:

1. From the GovWin Capture Management Navigation menu, click Utilities > Key Formats > Phases.
2. Complete the fields on the Key Convert Phase Format form.
3. Review the Sample Value field to see the format as it will be after the key format conversion is run.
4. Click Run.
