Disable Phases or Tasks

Use the Disable Phases/Tasks utility to disable tasks on a phase, or to disable phases on a contract.

Prerequisite: Back up your GovWin Capture Management database.

To disable phases and tasks:

1. From the GovWin Capture Management Application menu, click Utilities > Key Conversions > Disable Phases/Tasks.
2. On the Disable Phases/Tasks form, click Insert or Lookup/Insert to add rows to the grid:
   • If a Contract has tasks, you must run this utility for the tasks, then repeat these steps for the phases.
   • If a Contract has some phases with tasks and some without, you cannot mix them on the grid for the same processing run.
3. Complete the fields on the form.
4. Select one of the following actions:

   Option	Description
   To save the conversion to run later	Click Save.
   To run the conversion now	Click Run.
   To schedule the conversion to run on a regular basis via the process server	Click Schedule and complete the Schedule dialog box. If you use this option you cannot disable phases until this process has completed and tasks have been disabled.
