You can designate a primary contact and primary
customer for an opportunity.
Use the
Primary Contact field on the General tab of the Opportunity Info Center form to enter one contact record and define that contact as the primary contact for the opportunity. When you enter a contact in this field, the contact's information displays on the
Customers/Contacts tab of the Opportunity Info Center form.
Similarly, you can use the
Primary Customer field on the General tab of the Opportunity Info Center form to select one
customer record and define that
customer as the primary
customer for the opportunity. When you enter a
customer in this field, the
customer's information displays on the
Customers/Contacts tab of the Opportunity Info Center form.
