The Reemployment Beacon supports the following file formats:

When the Enable Ajera Synchronization checkbox is selected in Utilities » Integrations » Ajera, DPS checks the firm type before completing synchronization. Because clients and vendors are now combined in firms, when selecting to Sync to Ajera on a firm and the firm is not a client type, DPS prompts you with the following message: Only clients can be synced to Ajera. Would you like to mark this firm type as a client? If you select Yes, DPS will mark the Ajera Sync and mark the firm as client. If you select No, DPS will not allow you to mark the firm record for Ajera Sync.
If you set up DPS to use international English, labels and workflow messages related to the Maconomy integration with DPS can now be displayed using international English.
If you enable the Maconomy integration in DPS 1.1.8 or a later version and are using only one type of English, labels and workflow messages related to the Maconomy integration display using that type of English. If you have enabled both US English and international English, the field labels and workflow messages are available in the type of English a user selects when they log in.
If you enabled the Maconomy integration in a version of DPS prior to 1.1.8, the labels and workflow messages for the integration are only available in US English. However, you can add labels and workflow messages in international English.
You can now use the Data Import utility in the desktop application to import data for firms, such as clients and vendors, that you want to associate with a project. Those firm associations then display in the Projects hub in the following locations:
Browser application: In the Firms grid on the Team tab
Desktop application: In either the Vendors grid on the Our Team tab or the Clients grid on the Clients/Contacts tab.
Note that a record must already exist in the Firms hub in DPS for any firm that you want to associate with a project using this import.
By default, this and other imports that load data into hub-related tables are not available. However, if you have the proper security access (a password specifically for this utility), you can access the import as described below.
To run the import, do the following:
Click Utilities » Utilities » Data Import in the Navigation pane in the desktop application.
On the Import Utility form, press and hold Ctrl+Shift and click in a blank area of the form to display the Confirm Password dialog box.
Enter the password that gives you access to the full set of imports, and click OK.
Select Projects - Firms in the Table Description field and make the other entries to set up and run the import.
For information about the data you can import, see Projects - Firms Table Format.
Revenue Generation
You can now use the Revenue Generation application in DPS PSA » Revenue Generation, and the resulting journal entry will be updated in QuickBooks Online. When you run the revenue generation process, you get a more accurate view of a project's financial status. A project’s revenue is recognized when it is earned, based on the project’s assigned revenue method (such as percent complete or JTD Billings) instead of the amount billed. The project’s earned revenue is matched to the project’s expenses as they are incurred.
For more information, see the following help topic: Revenue Generation and QuickBooks Integration.
Billing Transfers
You can now make billing transfers in DPS Billing » Interactive Billing that will be updated in QuickBooks Online. You can transfer expense and unit cost amounts.
For more information, see the following help topic: Billing Transfers and QuickBooks Integration.
Undo Postings
Use the Undo Posting utility in DPS Utilities » Advanced Utilities » Undo Posting to remove posted transactions from both DPS and QuickBooks Online.
The Undo Posting utility works for the following posted transactions shared between DPS and QuickBooks Online:
Accounts payable vouchers
Accounts payable payments (vendor bills)
Billing invoices
Billing invoice payments
Billing transfers
Journal entries (including revenue generation and units journal entries)
Undo Posting does not work for timesheets and expense reports.
For more information, see the following help topic: Undo Postings and QuickBooks Integration.
If you have the multilingual module activated, you can now enter captions and tooltips in Screen Designer in the browser application in multiple languages. To do this, you log in to DPS in each language that you have enabled and enter the caption and tooltip text in Screen Designer in the language that you logged in with. The field positions on the screen are the same for all languages.
If you have the Time & Expense module but not the Accounting module, you can now access the Undo Posting utility in Utilities » Advanced Utilities » Undo Posting in the desktop application. This utility allows you to reverse (undo) completed postings.
To allow you to control access to the utility by security role, the utility has also been added to the menu items on the General tab in Settings » Security » Roles in the desktop application.
Defect 902589: The 1099 electronic file B records contained a combined federal/state code in positions 747-748. These should have been blank.
Defect 902006: When a user-defined, drop-down type field did not limit entry to the drop-down list (the Limit Entry to Values List check box was not selected for the field), you should have been able to enter any value in that field for a hub record, but you could not.
Defect 896820: On the Accounting tab in the Employees hub, you were unable to open the drop-down list in the Schedule field in the Absence Accruals grid.
Defect 910696: Two issues were fixed:
If Enable Unit Entry was set to No in Settings » Time » Options, the Allow Employee to Charge Units in Timesheets check box displayed on the Time & Expense tab in the Employees hub, but it should have been hidden.
If Enable Start/End Time was set to No in Settings » Time » Options, the Default Meal Start Time and the Default Meal End Time fields displayed on the Time & Expense tab, but they should have been hidden.
Defect 966953: DPS is supposed to always keep the project number and the plan number for a project the same. However, if you used Key Conversion or Key Formats utilities to change a project number, the plan number was not updated to match the new project number.
Defect 906960: In Microsoft Outlook, when you created an activity from an email, the activity name, attendee, and notes were not added to the activity.
Defect 898014: The Pipeline dashpart of the BusDev dashboard did not show any opportunities.
Defect 911595: An error in posting occurred when an expense report contained credit card expenses.
Defect 900387: This defect covers the following two separate issues; these apply if you have multiple companies and use multiple currencies in DPS:
The currency on an expense report did not match the currency used by the company that the expense report was created for.
If the company that an expense report was created for had Tax Auditing enabled, the Tax column did not display correctly on the expense report.
Defect 902679: When you selected any expense report containing a different company or employee than the previously opened expense report, the Expense Report form initially loaded an expense report with no rows. The rows displayed when the expense report was reopened.
Defect 907747: The account number in the expense report changed if you saved the expense report when:
Expense Line items used expense categories in the Category field.
The 1st expense line item was configured with:
The check box selected in the Bill field.
A regular project selected in the Project field.
A reimburable account selected in the Account field.
The 2nd expense line item was configured with:
The check box not selected in the Bill field.
An overhead project selected in the Project field.
An indirect account selected in the Account field.
Defect 906950: On the Employee Ledger report, information (project, phase, task account, expenses and totals) was missing for some employees when you ran the report with the Unpaid Expense Reports check box selected on the General tab of the report Options dialog box.
Defect 903350: If you had no columns selected for the middle section of the Resource View grid and you clicked Show Less to collapse the middle section of the grid and applied grouping for the grid, the detail grid rows displayed on top of the grouping rows, and you could not then select Show More or open the Column Settings & Selections dialog box to select columns or remove the grouping.
Defect 906938: Actual job-to-date (JTD) hours were not displayed correctly on Resource Management reports. First, unposted hours from timesheets were not included in JTD hours on the reports, though they were correctly included in JTD hours in the Labor planning grid in the Projects hub. In addition, even when the hours had been posted, they were still not included in the JTD hours for individual calendar periods on the reports, though they were included correctly in JTD totals on those reports.
Defect 895530: When a user-defined, drop-down type field did not limit entry to the drop-down list (Limit Entry to Values List check box was not selected for the field), you should have been able to enter any value in that field for a hub record, but you could not.
Defect 909181: Libya, Montenegro, and Serbia were missing from the the default list of countries defined on the Lists form (Settings » Labels and Lists » Lists). One result of this was that you could not import address information for locations in those countries without first adding them manually to the Country list. Note that the codes for these new items in the Country list are as follows: LY (Libya), ME (Montenegro), RS (Serbia).
Defect 910725: If you navigated to the Lists form (Settings » Labels and Lists » Lists) and changed the order of milestones in the Opportunity Milestone list, that new order should have been used in the drop-down selection lists of milestones elsewhere in DPS, but it was not. The milestones were still listed in alphabetical order.
Defect 903391: You received an error when you changed labor, cost, or pay rate values of employees and the affected rate table was used in existing projects.
Defect 907339: If you used one of the imports in the browser application (Utilities » Imports & Exports » Imports) to import data from a .CSV file and data in that file contained special characters such as ö, ñ, or é, those special characters were not imported.
Defect 908561: In some cases, when you imported opportunities from GovWin IQ and chose to create records for contacts or companies associated with those opportunities, you received a server error message indicating that a contact or company save failed.
Defect 908699: This issue applies if you do not have Kona configured for DPS. When you updated employee information in the Employees hub, the change was logged as an Update Employees process with a Waiting status in the Queue Processes grid in Utilities » Process Server » Queue Manager. These processes should not have displayed in the grid.
