The Touch Server for this version of the Deltek for Professional Services mobile application has been upgraded to support PHP 7.3.8.

Software Issues Resolved

Accounting >> Adjust Salaried Job Cost

Defect 1160171: When you ran the Adjust Salaried Job Cost process for a timesheet that had negative hours, the hours were not recognized as negative and the timesheet was not adjusted correctly. It incorrectly made an adjustment to make the cost equal to the positive cost/salary amount.

Accounting >> Tax File Generation

Defect 1149433: When you generated the UK VAT Return file, if the file had two invoice transactions that had the same post sequence number, period, and amount, the grid on the Review tab of the Tax File Generation form could display wrong amounts for the transaction rows, or the rows could be missing from the grid.

Activation >> Activate Modules

Defect 1118784: When you had the PSA module enabled and you entered valid values for the Start Date and End Date fields to set up your fiscal year during module activation, you received the following validation error: “The Start Date must be the first day of a calendar month.”

API

Defect 1158105: This issue applies if you have multiple companies in DPS, you use Touch Time, and you have a custom web service application for timesheets. When you entered and saved a timesheet in Touch Time, the employee’s company was not passed to the web service application.

Hubs >> Activities

Defect 1132819: Sometimes, when an activity was marked as completed (the check mark was selected) and then not completed (the check mark was cleared) on the Activities tab in the Opportunities hub, the activity's notes disappeared.

Hubs >> Employees

Defect 1130698: This issue applies if you use Ajera CRM with DPS, and in DPS you have the Update Project Team When Posting Labor check box selected on the General tab in Settings » Advanced Accounting » System. On the Experience tab in the Employees hub, the Actual Hours field was not updated when labor was posted. The field displayed 0 (zero).

Defect 1132215: In the Projects grid on the Experience tab of the Employees hub, the filter option did not work for any fields.

Hubs >> Firms

Defect 1018064: When a role's Record Access settings for firms used criteria for a custom opportunity field, an error occurred when you attempted to open the Firms hub if the firm was set up to use hierarchies.

Hubs >> Opportunities

Defect 1151705: The Days Open field on the Opportunities hub displayed negative numbers.

Hubs >> Projects

Defect 1144662: In the Vantagepoint desktop application, if the project had one or more vendors listed in the Firms grid on the Team tab, you could not add phases and tasks to a project .

Hubs >> Projects >> Invoices

Defect 1133044: If a user's security role is set up with record-level access specified for updating project records, she was unable to display invoice detail or the invoice itself from the grid on the Invoices tab in the Projects hub if she did not also have update access rights to the currently selected project. The icons for displaying invoice information that are normally available at the end of each grid row were hidden in this case.

Microsoft Outlook Add-in

Defect 1150193: In Outlook, you were unable to create a Vantagepoint activity from an email if an activity had already been created from another email in the same email thread (with the same email subject), even though the emails had a different sent or replied-to date. You received the following message: “An activity from this email exists already.” Now you are able to create activities from emails in the same email thread that have the same email subject but a different sent or replied-to date.

Defect 1148869: After you entered and saved the Deltek URL, user ID, password, and database settings in the Vantagepoint Welcome pane in Outlook, you should not have needed to enter this information again when you opened Outlook. However, these settings were getting cleared out, and you were required to re-enter them.

My Stuff >> Expense Report

Defect 1158272: When you created an expense report and clicked the Submit button, you received the error message "Please enter a value for Date". This defect happened when:

My Stuff >> Reporting

Defect 1154214: When you generated the Employee Labor Audit report with the column Debit Account selected on the Columns & Groups tab of the report settings, and the database had a large number of records in the LD and LedgerMisc tables, you received a message saying that the report was being generated and then the process stopped responding.

Defect 1160056: When you ran the Payment Register report, you received the following error: "SQL Reporting Error creating Check Register RDL file: More than one report item in the report has the name ‘<Xxxxxxx>’. Report item names must be unique within a report." This occurred when both of the following applied:

Defect 1165182: In the desktop application, an error message was displayed when you generated the Project Planning Schedule report if the Only Include Task with Planned Numbers option was selected in the Options tab of the Project Planning Schedule Options dialog box.

Resource Management >> Resource View

Defect 1163967: In the Find Resources pane on the Resource View form, when you set up a search for resources based on Skills, the search results returned were incorrect.

Touch >> Touch CRM

Defect 1160554: If you associated an existing contact to a firm on the Firms screen and then tapped the Edit button for that contact on the Contacts screen, you would not be able to tap the Business field to edit the business address.

Touch >> Touch Time and Expense

Defect 1036368: If you logged on using an approver account with the admin level set to Group and you tried to submit an employee timesheet, the submitted timesheet would not display on the Time Approvals screen. The screen would also be empty.

Defect 1036314: If you were an approver and you logged on using an account with the Company or Group timesheet admin level, the Change Company button would be disabled for either of the login accounts. As a result, you would not be able to approve the timesheets of employees from the other company.

Defect 1037743: If you logged on using an account with either the Staff or Non-Staff admin level and you tapped a submitted timesheet, the Reopen (or unsubmit) button would not be available. This issue would occur even when the Allow Staff to Resubmit option was set to Yes.

Utilities >> Utilities >> Data Imports

Defect 1153602: When you imported Purchase Order Item Detail Cost Distribution and/or Purchase Order Default Project Distribution import types with distribution values that were not equal to 100% (on the Import Utility form in Utilities » Utilities » Data Imports of the desktop application), the purchase order commitment records were many times larger than the original value that was committed in the original purchase order. Consequently, ledger amounts displayed values that were much higher than they should have been.

The import utility now verifies that the values are equal to 100% before proceeding with the import process.
