Use toolbar options to create and work with miscellaneous expense transaction records.
Commonly Used Actions
Click the buttons on the Actions bar to access commonly performed actions.

Submit/Submit File

This option appears if transaction center approvals are enabled and if the status of the transaction or transaction file is
In Progress. Click this option to submit an individual transaction or a transaction file (transactions grouped into a file) for approval.

Approve
|
This option appears if transaction center approvals and enabled and the status of the transaction or transaction file is
Submitted. Click this option and choose to approve or reject the individual transaction or transaction file. You can also post the transaction or file if
DPS does not require complete approvals before posting.

Save
|
Click this option to save the changes you made to the transaction or transaction file.
|
Post
|
This options appears if transaction entry is set up to so that you enter transactions individually, rather than in files. If you enabled transaction center approvals, this option displays when the transaction status is
Submitted or
Approved. Click this option to post the transaction.

Other Actions
Click this menu to perform the following actions:
Field | Description |
Make Recurring/ Make File Recurring
|
Use this option to make the file recurring. This is useful if you are creating and posting the transaction file on a regular basis.

Change Dates
|
Use this option to change the transaction date and, if transaction date validation is implemented, the file end date for the current transaction file. This option is only available if the transaction file is recurring and is not yet posted.

Clear Amounts
|
Use this option to clear (zero out) the amounts entered for a recurring transaction. This option is only available if the transaction file is recurring and is not yet posted.

Reverse Amounts
|
Use this option to reverse all amounts (multiply by negative one) in a recurring transaction. This option is only available if the transaction file is recurring and is not yet posted.

Recreate File
|
Recurring files that were already posted must be recreated in order to create the next file in the recurrence. This option is only available if the transaction file is recurring and is posted.

Delete
|
Select the transaction file and click this option to delete it.
