Display Standard Hours Column Select this check box to show standard hours or cost amounts. (Which of these the report shows depends on your selection in Report at.) You must select this option if you enter a ratio based on standard hours in one of the Direct Ratio or Target Ratio columns on the Columns tab. However, you can display the standard hours column without including ratios based on standard hours. You can base the values in the Standard Hours column on either the actual hours worked or an established formula.
Calculate STD Hrs as of

If you select Display Standard Hours Column, enter the date as of which you want to review current (CUR), month-to-date (MTD, and year-to-date (YTD) hours or amounts. This date serves as a cutoff date for the labor transactions included in the calculation.

If you specify a date that is outside the current accounting period, the last date of the current period is used. For example, if the current accounting period ends on June 30 but you enter July 15 for this option, June 30 is the "as of" date.

If you also select Print Current and Date Range (see below), the current standard hours reflect the employee's holidays and non-working days.

Include Holiday Time in STD Hours Calculation If you select Display Standard Hours Column, select this check box to include days marked as holidays in the calculation of the standard hours.
Use Job Cost Frequency to Calculate STD Hours If you select Display Standard Hours Column and you select specific posting logs, select this check box to base the calculation of standard hours on the Job Cost Frequency setting on the Timesheets tab of the Accounting Company Settings form (Settings > Accounting > Company).
User Defined Standard Hours If you select Display Standard Hours Column, select this option to specify the reporting period for the standard hours. Select one of these check boxes and enter the number of standard hours in the field to the right of the check box:
  • CUR: Current standard hours
  • MTD: Month-to-date standard hours
  • YTD: Year-to-date standard hours

Actual hours worked replace user-defined standard hours if Use total hours as standard on Time Analysis is selected on the Accounting tab of the Employees hub.

Print Current Select this check box to display time data for the current accounting period.

If Consolidate timesheet postings by Project, Phase, Task, Labor Code and Employee is selected on the Timesheets tab of the Accounting Company Settings form, the Standard column displays all hours or amounts based on a single day. You can select Date Range for this option as a work-around for the consolidation.

If you select Print Current, select one of these options:

  • Select Specific Labor Posting: Select this option to generate the report for specific labor posting runs. Click Select Specific Labor Posting to display the Labor Posting Logs dialog box and select the posting run. When you select this option, the current standard hours calculation uses the minimum date and maximum date in the labor posting runs you select.
  • Date Range: Select this option to generate the report for the date range that you specify in the associated date fields. Enter the start date and end date of the range, or click the calendar icons and select the dates.
  • Period Range: Select this option to generate the report for the range of accounting periods you specify in the associated fields. When you select this option, the current standard hours calculation uses the minimum date and maximum date of this range.

In all cases, the calculation of current standard hours takes into consideration the holidays and non-working days established for the employee.

Select Specific Labor Posting button If you selected Select Specific Labor Posting, click this button to display the Labor Posting Logs dialog box and select the posting run for which you want to generate the report. The Labor Posting Logs dialog box lists all timesheet, labor adjustment, and billing labor transfer posting runs for the current period.
Print Month-to-Date Select this check box to display time data for the current month.
Print Year-to-Date Select this check box to display time data for the current year.
