Contents of the Update Overall Percent Completes Dialog Box

Use the fields and options to update overall percent complete numbers for projects.

Billing Amounts Grid

On the grid, select the row that contains the project for which you want to view percent billed information, then click this option. The Compensation and Percent Billed dialog box displays, with data for the project that you selected.

Field Description
Project This column displays the selected project's number.
Project Name This column displays the selected project's name.
Phase This column displays the phase's number.
Phase Name This column displays the phase's name.
Task This column displays the task's number.
Task Name This column displays the task's name.
Overall % Complete

This column contains the same data as the following fields:

  • Overall Pct Comp on the Accounting tab of the Projects hub form, and
  • Overall % Cmplt on the Project Budget Worksheet form.

When you save a change to this value in any of these locations, the value automatically updates in all the corresponding locations.

Labor % Complete

This column contains the same data as the following fields:

  • Labor Pct Comp on the Accounting tab of the Projects hub form, and
  • Lab % Cmplt on the Labor Cost/Burden or Labor Billing tab of the Project Budget Worksheet form.

When you save a change to this value in any of these locations, the value automatically updates in all of the corresponding locations.

Expense % Complete

This column contains the same data as the following fields:

  • Expense Pct Comp on the Accounting tab of the Projects hubr form, and
  • Exp % Complt on the Expense Costs or Expense Billing tab of the Project Budget Worksheet form.

When you save a change to this value in any of these locations, the value automatically updates in all of the corresponding locations.

Compensation

This column contains the same data as the following fields:

  • Compensation on the Accounting tab of the Projects hub form, and
  • Compensation on the Summary dialog boxes of the Project Budget Worksheet form.

When you save a change to this value in any of these locations, the value automatically updates in all of the corresponding locations.

Consultant Fee

This column contains the same data as the following fields:

  • Consultant Fee on the Accounting tab of the Projects hub form, and
  • Consultant Fee on the Summary dialog boxes of the Project Budget Worksheet form.

When you save a change to this value in any of these locations, the value automatically updates in all of the corresponding locations.

Reimb Allowance

This column contains the same data as the following fields:

  • Reimb Allowance on the Accounting tab of the Projects hub form, and
  • Reimb. allowances on the Summary dialog boxes of the Project Budget Worksheet form.

When you save a change to this value in any of these locations, the value automatically updates in all of the corresponding locations.

Total Compensation This column displays the total compensation, calculated as: Compensation + Consultant Fee + Reimbursable Allowance.
Labor Budget This column contains the same data as the total Amount on the Labor Cost/Burden tab of the Project Budget Worksheet form.
Expense Budget This column contains the sum of all budgeted non-consultant expenses on the Expense Costs tab of the Project Budget Worksheet form.
Consultant Budget This column contains the sum of all budgeted consultant expenses on the Expense Costs tab of the Project Budget Worksheet form.
Labor To Date This column contains the total job-to-date spent amount from the Labor Cost and Burden tab of the Project Budget Worksheet form. This number reflects total labor costs posted to the project.
Expense To Date This column contains the sum of non-consultant job-to-date spent amounts on the Expense Costs tab of the Project Budget Worksheet form. This number reflects total expense costs, other than consultant fees, posted to the project.
Consultant To Date This column contains the sum of consultant job-to-date spent amounts on the Expense Costs tab of the Project Budget Worksheet form. This number reflects total consultant fee costs posted to the project.
Total Spent This column contains the total job-to-date spent amount on the Expense Costs tab of the Project Budget Worksheet form. This number is also the sum of the three preceding columns: Labor To Date, Expense To Date, and Consultant To Date.
Percent Used This column displays the total job-to-date spent amount divided by the total compensation.
