View DPS Contact Information from Microsoft Outlook

You can easily view a contact's information from DPS when you are in Microsoft Outlook.

Prerequisites: You must have the Outlook add-in installed.

To view contact information from DPS in an email in Microsoft Outlook:

  1. Open an email in Outlook that has a recipient or a sender who is entered as a contact in DPS.
  2. Complete one of the following actions to open the DPS contact information pane:
    • In Outlook Web App: In the email, click the DPS icon and select Open Deltek.
    • In Outlook for Windows or Outlook for Mac: On the Home tab in the Outlook ribbon, click Open Deltek in the Deltek group.
  3. In the contact information pane, use the scroll bar to navigate and view the contact's information from DPS. A contact's phone numbers, firm, qualified status, and list of recent activities, active opportunities, project history, and active marketing campaigns display in the pane.
  4. If the contact that automatically displays in the pane is not the contact that you want to view, complete either of the following in the contact information pane to display a different contact in the contact information pane:
    • Click in the toolbar, and select a different DPS contact in the email recipient pane.
    • Click to open the search pane, and search for any contact that is entered in DPS.
  5. In the contact information pane, click to open the complete contact record in the Contacts hub in DPS.
