Contacts Marketing Campaigns Tab

A marketing campaign is an event or activity designed to reach new and existing clients to generate new business. For example, you might send an e-newsletter or speak at a conference. Use the Marketing Campaigns tab to associate one or more marketing campaign records with a contact.

The Marketing Campaigns tab is only available if you are using CRM Plus.

Much of the information for DPS is entered and displayed in grids on various forms. For information about using grids, see Working with Grids.

Marketing Campaigns Grid

Use this grid to associate marketing campaign records that were entered in the Marketing Campaigns hub with the current contact record. When you select a marketing campaign record, the fields on this grid update to display its information. Click the + Add Marketing Campaign option to add records to this grid.

To copy or delete a marketing campaign on the grid, click , and select the desired option.

Click to filter the grid contents based on column values. For information about how the filter works, see Filter the Grid Results.

Field Description
Marketing Campaign

This column displays the name of the marketing campaign that is associated with the contact. Click the name of the campaign to display a tooltip containing details about the marketing campaign. Click More in the tooltip to display the full marketing campaign record on a separate browser tab.

To associate a marketing campaign with the contact record, click+ Add Marketing Campaign, type one or more characters from the marketing campaign's name, and select from the list of campaigns that automatically displays. Or, click to select from the full list of campaigns. If the marketing campaign has not yet been added in DPS, you can add a new record in the Marketing Campaigns hub.

Marketing Campaign Manager This column displays the name of the employee who is assigned the role of Campaign Manager for the marketing campaign.
Type This column displays the type of marketing campaign. For example, Webcast or Tradeshow.
Stage This column displays the marketing campaign stage. For example, Active, Completed, or Planning.
Status This column displays the marketing campaign's status and a color indicator:
  • A campaign with an Active status is currently in use.
  • A campaign with an Inactive status is not in use.
+ Add Marketing Campaign To associate another marketing campaign with the contact, click this link and select the marketing campaign in the Marketing Campaigns area.
