Ungroup Advanced Search Fields

You can ungroup fields that were previously grouped together for an advanced search. This removes the relationship between the fields when a search is performed.

Prerequisites: Create a new search or open an existing search.

To ungroup fields that are grouped together for an advanced search:

1. Click Advanced Settings to access additional options for building a custom search.
2. In the Search Criteria grid, hover over the bracket on the grouped fields that you want to ungroup.
3. When the bracket turns red, click the black that displays at the top of the bracket. The fields are separated.
