Use the General tab to set which data is transferred from
DPS to Talent Management and to view the history of all transfers of data run.

Field | Description |
New Hires
|
Select this option to transfer new hire records from Talent Management into
DPS as new employee records. If selected,
DPS retains this setting for the next data run.

Audit User
|
Enter a user name that will be used for the audit trail of employee records that were loaded into
DPS.
- When you import a new hire record from Talent Management into a table in
DPS, the value for the
Audit User field becomes the value for
create user and
mod user.
- When you generate the Employee Audit Detail report, the user who ran or scheduled the process server job is indicated in the report.

Changes Since Last Send
|
Select this option to synchronize the changes that have been made in
DPS with the records in Talent Management since the last data run. If selected,
DPS retains the setting for the next data run.
Clear this option when loading employee records from
DPS to Talent Management for the first time. Doing so loads employees in
DPS as new users in Talent Management.

Employees
|
Select this option to send employee data to Talent Management. If you are sending employee data to Talent Management for the first time, Talent Management creates new records and loads the employees as new users in the system.
You should maintain employee records in
DPS. When you want to synchronize records between
DPS and Talent Management, select this option and the
Changes Since Last Send option. Changes are synchronized on the next data run.

Exclude Employees with Termination Date Before
|
Specify the date. Records of employees that have a termination date before the selected date are not synchronized with Talent Management on the next data run.

Organizations
|
Select this option to send organization data to Talent Management. This option displays when you have set up organization codes in your company. You should maintain the organization records in
DPS. When you want to synchronize records between
DPS and Talent Management, select this option and the
Changes Since Last Send option. Changes are synchronized on the next data run.
If you run a key conversion or make changes to the key formats of organizations in your company, you must first run the Talent Management Web Service with
Organizations selected before running the web service a second time to send changes made to employee data.

Click the drop-down arrow on a grid header to complete any of the following actions:
- To print grid data, click
Print. On the Print Preview form, click
to send the grid data to your default printer.
- To export grid data to an Excel spreadsheet, click
Export to Excel. When Microsoft Excel opens, use its features to modify, print, or email the grid data, or to save the spreadsheet file locally.
- To turn on grouping for a grid, click
Enable Grouping. When a field displays with the instruction: "Drag a column header here to group by that column," drag and drop column headers into the field, in the sequence that you want them to display.
Not all options are available on all grids.

Clear Log
|
Select this option to clear the transfer jobs that have finished running or were stopped. This option does not clear transfer jobs that are scheduled to run.

Status
|
This column indicates if a transfer job is pending, has failed, or has been completed.
|
Start After
|
This column displays the date and time when a scheduled transfer job will run.
|
Started
|
This column displays the date and time when a transfer job has started.
|
Finished
|
This column displays the date and time when a transfer job has finished.
|
Submitter
|
This column displays the user who initiated or scheduled the transfer job.
|
Message
|
This column displays the number of records imported into or from
DPS when a transfer job has been completed. It also shows the error when a transfer job has failed.
