Edit a Boilerplate

To change boilerplate information and modify text using the editing and formatting toolbar, go to the Boilerplate hub and select an available boilerplate.

This option is only available if you have the access rights that are required to edit records.

To edit a boilerplate form:

1. In the Navigation pane, go to the Hubs section and select Boilerplates.
2. Use the search field above the boilerplate name to search for and select the boilerplate that you want to edit.
3. To change information in the Boilerplates form, do one or more of the following:

   To change	Do this
   A value on a field in Boilerplates form	Hover over the field, click , and enter or select the value. On the edit dialog box, make changes and click OK. The appropriate fields update on the contact record.
   Multiple fields on the Boilerplates form	Click Actions > Edit. Modify the standardized text as needed. In the upper right corner of the Text field, click and use the editing and formatting options to format the text as desired.

4. Click either Save. If you cancel your changes, DPS reverts the boilerplate to its previous version.
