Copy a Boilerplate

You can copy and modify an existing boilerplate record to create a new record.

When you copy an existing boilerplate, it's usually to repurpose some, but not all, of its content. For example, if a firm has several business lines or practice areas, but you want to describe a specific one, you can copy an existing firm boilerplate and modify the name, description, and text fields to describe that different practice area or business line.

To copy a boilerplate:

1. In the Navigation pane, click Boilerplates hub.
2. Use the search field above the boilerplate name to search for and select the boilerplate that you want to copy.
3. On the Actions menu, click Copy to copy the boilerplate.
4. Modify the Name, Description, and Text fields as needed.
5. Click Save to save the new boilerplate record or Cancel to remove the copied boilerplate record.
