Eliminate Problem Web Sites

Web sites that take over the DPS browser can throw you out of DPS.

If you place one of these Web dashparts on your Dashboard, you can get thrown out of DPS every time that you try to log in.

The solution to this problem is to relaunch DPS without loading the startup application and then eliminate the problem dashpart.

To eliminate a problem web site:

  1. On the DPS splash screen that displays when you launch DPS, click Do not load Startup Application.
  2. Log on to DPS.
  3. Hold down the SHIFT and CTRL keys while you click the Dashboard link.

    All of your Web dashparts display but DPS does not load their content.

  4. Delete (or hide) the Web dashpart that caused the problem.
