Change the Number, Length, or Starting Period of the Calendar Period Grid Columns

Use the Change Forecast Period dialog box to change the number calendar period columns in the Resource View grid, change the length (day, week, or month) of each period, or change the starting period.

To change the number, length, or starting period of the calendar period columns:

1. In the Navigation pane, click Resource Management > Resource View.
2. Click next to Forecast Range on the top Resource View toolbar.
3. On the Change Forecast Period dialog box, do any or all of the following:
   • In Scale, indicate whether the calendar period columns represent days, weeks, or months.
   • In Duration, select the number of calendar period columns to display in the grid.
   • In Start Date/Week/Month, select the day, week or month for the first calendar period column.
4. Click Change.

   Result: DPS refreshes the grid contents and updates the calendar period columns based on the new forecast period settings.
