Define Page Properties

Use this dialog box to define the properties for each page of the proposal. Properties may include orientation, size, width, and so on. Page properties are defaulted from the document properties, but can be changed for each individual page.

To display the Page Properties dialog box:

  1. In the Navigation pane, go to Proposals > Custom Proposals and open the desired proposal.
  2. Open the Settings pane and select Properties.
  3. Click Page Properties and select the desired page to define the properties.
  4. Select the paper size.
  5. Select the page width and height.
  6. Select the page layout orientation.
  7. Specify the top, bottom, left, and right margins. The unit of measure (inches or millimeters) defaults to the measure that is specified in Document Properties and cannot be changed.

If your unit of measure is inches, use decimals for fractions of an inch (for example, 0.75 or 1.20).

  8. Specify the background color for the page. If you know the hex number for the background color, enter it in this field. Otherwise, click in this field to open the custom color palette. Move the + slider to the desired color on the palette and then use the vertical slider to specify the gradient of the desired color.
  9. Specify the opacity for the background color. The lower the percentage, the lighter the color. For example, if the background color is set to royal blue and the opacity is 50%, the color will be a lighter shade of royal blue than if it were set to 100%.
  10. Click Apply to apply your changes. The properties are applied to the active page only. Open each page individually to establish different properties for the remaining pages. Alternatively, you can use document properties to set the page properties for all pages in the proposal at once.
