Custom Proposals Form

In the Custom Proposals application, you create a custom proposal and assign merge templates to sections of the proposal. You also select the appropriate Hub records (such as which employees, clients, and so on), as well as graphics to include in a custom proposal to meet your customers' proposal specifications.

You can add a proposal record in the following ways:
  • Click + New Proposal to open the Proposal Builder.
  • Select a proposal and click Options > Copy, or open the proposal and select Other Actions > Copy Proposal. On the Copy Proposal dialog, enter the new proposal's properties: Name (required), Number, Project, and Due Date.

You can edit an existing proposal record by opening the record and modifying the field information as needed, either on this form or in the Proposal Builder.

Search

Use the search field above the proposal name to search for and select the proposal that you want to review or edit.

To refine the results set, click the search filter drop-down arrow and select a standard or custom search:
  • Click ALL to select from a list of all records (both active and inactive).
  • Click Custom at the bottom of the list to create and save or apply a new custom search.

If a proposal is inactive or dormant, the search results list displays the record in gray to indicate the status. You can hover over the indicator to display the status.

x of x Use these arrow icons to scroll through the records in the search results and display a different record to display on the form. The numbers indicate which record you are viewing out of the total number of records in the search results.
+ Add Proposal Click this option to open the Proposal Builder and add a new proposal record.

This option is available if your security role has the access rights required for adding records.

Name

The name of the proposal displays above the tabs.

If the name is too long to display completely, hover over it to see a tooltip containing the full name. To edit the name, hover over it and click .

Due Date This column displays the proposal's due date.
Proposal Manager This column displays the proposal manager.
Status This column displays the proposal's status.
Client This column displays the proposal's associated client.
Organization This column displays the proposal's organization.
Number This column displays the proposal's number.
Date Advertised This column displays the date the proposal was advertised.
