Use the Actions bar in Proposals to edit and save proposal information or export a proposal to a PDF file.
Commonly Used Actions
Click the buttons on the Actions bar to quickly access commonly performed actions.

Save to save the proposal record. If there are unsaved changes and you attempt to close the form,
Vantagepoint completes an autosave that automatically saves the current changes at a predetermined interval.

Other Actions

Other Actions menu to choose other tasks.

| Export Proposal

After generating a proposal, click
Export Proposal to export it in a file and save it for reuse (printing, emailing, and so on). The file opens in your browser. Depending on the file type, your browser settings determine how the file is opened. For example, if the file type is an Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF), the PDF may open in a browser tab or in Adobe Acrobat. The
Export Proposal option is not available if the proposal is in draft mode.

| Copy Proposal

Click
Copy Proposal
to copy an existing proposal to use current proposal data as the basis for a new proposal. This is useful when you have multiple proposals with similar criteria.
On the Copy Proposal dialog, enter the new proposal's properties:
Name (required),
Number,
Project, and
Due Date. The following information is automatically copied to the new proposal: Organization, Proposal Manager, Source, Type, and all proposal elements with the exception of elements in the Sandbox

| Save as Template

Click
Save as Template to save the current proposal as a template for reuse.

| Save and Exit
|
Click this option to save the proposal and exit the Proposal Builder.
