Revision Update Grid

When you save or submit the revision, the date and time of the revision, as well as the person responsible for submitting the timesheet, are saved in the revision records that are associated with the timesheet. Each time that the timesheet is revised and subsequently saved or submitted, the revision records are updated. This information is then used on the Timesheet Detail and Timesheet Revision reports, which are useful in the event of an audit.

Field Description
Date This field displays the date of the timesheet record and includes all transfers that occurred within the specified time period.
Project This field displays the project to which the time was transferred.
Phase This field displays the phase to which the time was transferred.
Task This field displays the task to which the time was transferred.
Labor Code This field displays the labor code to which the time was transferred.
Labor Category This field displays the labor category to which the time was transferred.
Revision Description This field displays a description of the revision.

Explanation

Field Description
Standard Explanations Use this drop-down list to select an explanation for the revision. These explanations are available to all Timesheet users in the company and can help identify or classify revisions on individual timesheets. Your system administrator enters these explanations on the Timesheet Audit tab of Settings > Time.
Explanation After you select an explanation for the revision, the text of the explanation displays in this field. You can modify the explanation or add more details in this field. Click to use the Text Editor to add details and then save your changes.
