Remove a User-Defined Field from a Hub

Use Screen Designer in the browser application to remove a user-defined field that you previously added to a hub.

When you remove a user-defined field from a hub, it is permanently removed from the hub. All the data that is entered in a user-defined field for all the records in the hub is permanently removed from the Deltek database.

You cannot remove a standard Deltek field from a hub.

To remove a user-defined field from a hub:

  1. In the Navigation pane in the browser application, open Screen Designer in one of the following ways:
    • Go to the Hubs section and select the hub that you want to customize. On the hub form, select Design from the Actions drop-down menu.
    • Go to the Settings section and select Screen Designer. In the drop-down list in the title bar of the Screen Designer form, select the hub that you want to customize.
  2. On the Screen Designer form, click the tab on which the user-defined field is located.
  3. Hover over the field that you want to remove, and click X in the upper right corner of the field.
  4. In the Delete dialog box, click Delete.
  5. On the Screen Designer form, click Save in the actions and properties pane.
