Select the Actuals Rate

You can select the rate, cost or burden, that is used to calculate actual amounts on the Project Review form.

The rate in effect is indicated by the label on the actuals section (Cost Analysis or Burden Analysis). If billing rates are enabled, you can also see the Bill Analysis section on the Project Review form. If you have the appropriate security settings, you can see cost rates and/or burdened rates.

If you use multiple currencies, then Actual Cost amounts are based on project currency. Actual Billed calculations are performed in the project's billing currency if the Use Villing Currency not Project Currency option is selected on the Reporting tab of Settings > Advanced Accounting > System. Otherwise, calculations are performed in the project's project currency.

To select the actuals rate:

1. On the Navigation menu, click Accounting > Project Review.
2. On the Project Review form, select the projects for review.
3. On the toolbar, click Options.
4. On the Options dialog box, select the budget source.
5. For the Show Cost Analysis option, select the rate used to calculate the actuals displayed on the Project Review form: At Cost or At Burden.
6. Optional. Select the Estimate Overhead option to have overhead estimated according to the settings in Overhead Configuration for the period in which Overhead Allocation has not yet been run.  
7. Optional. Select the Included Unposted Time option to include timesheet entries that have not yet been posted.
8. Click OK.
