Setting Up Payroll
Settings in the Employees hub and in Accounting Settings impact the fields and options that you use in Payroll.

You establish employee withholding information on the Payroll tab of the Employees hub. Employee withholding information can be calculated and tracked based solely on an employee's gross wages or based on the location where work is performed. - Payroll Direct Deposit Setup
You can directly deposit the employee’s entire net pay, or only a portion of the employee’s net pay, to one or more bank accounts. Before you use the direct deposit feature, you must set up employee and bank code information. - Employee Side of Employer Payroll Contribution Setup

In the Payroll application, you can set up tables that include override payroll rates for time charged to a project. Each override rate in a given table has an associated effective date.
