Record Level Security

| Apply Employee Record Access
|
Select this option to restrict employee access by this role to only those employee records defined by employee record level security for Activities and Project Planning.
Do not select this option if users with this security role need full access to all employee records for Activities and Project Planning, regardless of the role's employee record level security access to other
Deltek applications.
When you select the
Apply Employee Record Access option, the
Use Employee Record Access option is enabled. Use this option to select a specific area for applying the record level security.

| Allow WBS Level Changes
|
Select this option if the role can change WBS levels. You use the Plan Level fields together with the WBS Element fields on the Default WBS Mapping dialog to establish how data summarizes in your work breakdown structure.

| Allow Changes to Baseline
|
Select this option if the role can change the baseline. You can have only one baseline version for the current plan at any given time. If you use the
Save Baseline option again for the same plan, you will overwrite the previous contents of the baseline.

| Allow Changes to Percent Complete Formula
|
Select this option if the role can make changes to the percent complete formula.
|
| Allow Changes to Revenue Formula
|
Select this option if the role can make changes to the revenue formula.

Rates

|
Select this option if the role can change the budget type. There are three possible budget types: Cost, Billing, and Cost and Billing. Cost rates represent your enterprise's cost to produce a service. Billing rates represent the amount the client will pay for the service your enterprise provides.

Select this option if the role can change the rate and method tables.

Top Down Plan

|
Select this option if the role can update top-down plans. When you select this option, the
Update a Labor Plan button on the Top Down Plan tab of Project Planning is enabled.

|
Compensation includes all direct labor and direct expense fees.

| Allow Changes to Direct Labor Fee
|
Select this option if the role can change direct labor fees in Planning.

Select this option if the role can change direct expense fees in Planning.

| Allow Changes to Direct Consultant Fees
|
Select this option if the role can change direct consultant fees in Planning. Consultant fees are any fees that are not included in the compensation amount, but that may be required for associated enterprises or consultants.

| Reimbursable Allowance
|
The reimbursable allowance amount includes all expenses that will be reimbursed to your company by the client, including reimbursable consultant fees.

| Allow Changes to Reimbursable Expense Fee
|
Select this option if the role can change reimbursable expense amounts in Planning.

|
Select this option if the role can change reimbursable consultant amounts in Planning.

Select this option if the role can change the percentage of overhead to be applied to the planned labor cost.

Resource Management

Select this option if the role can modify and save assignments on dialogs to which they have access in Resource Management.

| Allow to Hard Book Planned Hours
|
Select this option for the role to see both soft and hard booking menu options within the Resource Management application. In the Planning application, all planned labor changes will default to hard booked.
If this option is not selected, the role is not allowed to change the booking status. The default is soft booked.
