Interactive Billing

Use Interactive Billing when you need to generate invoices one at a time, to ensure that each invoice contains the appropriate charges and related information. Review your invoices one at a time, modify the transactions that are to be billed and, if needed, change invoice formatting before processing the final bill.

Multiple Companies

If you have multiple companies, you set up billing options by company. Lower levels of the work breakdown structure (phases, tasks) for any project may belong to different companies. During invoice processing, Deltek includes for billing all of the projects owned by the active company. This is true even if the active company does not own all of the phases or tasks that belong to a project.

Multiple Currencies and Multiple Companies

If you have multiple companies and multiple currencies, it is possible that different elements of the work breakdown structure (projects, phases, and tasks) are owned by different companies in the enterprise, and that these elements have differing currencies.

  • Transaction Options for Interactive Billing
    The Labor, Expenses, and Units tabs of the Interactive Billing form list all Vision labor, expense, and unit transactions. On these tabs you can view transaction detail, mark transactions to be billed or held, or delete, insert, modify, transfer, or write off transactions.
