Copy a Consolidated GL Budget

You can create a new budget by copying an existing budget and modifying the information to meet your needs.

To create a new consolidated GL budget by copying an existing budget:

  1. On the Navigation menu, click Accounting > Budgeting > Consolidated GL.
  2. On the Consolidated GL Budgeting form, select one of the following actions:
    Option Description
    To copy the current budget Open a budget, click New, and select Copy Current Budget.
    To select the budget that you want to copy Click the Select Budget to Copy option and then search for and select the budget you want to copy.
  3. In the Budget Name field, enter the new budget name.
  4. Click Save.
