VAT Registrations Tab of the Integrations & Imports Form

Use the VAT Registrations tab to configure the subscription license for Deltek to use the vatlayer API system.

These fields allow you to configure the subscription license for Deltek to use the vatlayer API system. You can obtain a subscription license for up to 100 requests per month for free. If you need more than 100 requests in a month, you can obtain a paid subscription for an increased number of validation requests. Contact your Deltek Account manager for details.

When vatlayer registration is configured, the user can enter a Tax Registration Number and Tax Country for each firm address that is entered in the Firms Hub. In addition, the user can choose to click the Validate Tax Registration Number option to validate the firm's tax registration number with the Belgian VAT Desk. If invalid,Deltek displays an error message alerting the user of the issue.

Field	Description
VAT API KEY	Enter the API access key that is required to validate firm tax registration numbers with the vatlayer API system. This key is provided by vatlayer, saved in the system, and used to make validation calls on behalf of the user.
Secure VAT Validation	Select this checkbox for the validation call to occur over a secure connection using https. When selected, Deltek will make a test call to determine if the subscription level allows secure calls. If the user is on a free subscription plan, they cannot make secure calls and the test call to vatlayer will return an "https_access_restricted" error. If the test call results in this error, the system will automatically uncheck the checkbox and display a message to the user. Users on a paid subscription plan have the option of making calls over https.
