Use the GovWin IQ tab of Integrations and Imports to configure Deltek to connect to your GovWin IQ instance and enter your GovWin IQ account information.
GovWin IQ
Use the following fields on the Integrations tab to set up the integration with GovWin IQ.
Integration with GovWin IQ is only available with CRM. If you have not activated the CRM application, the
GovWin IQ fields do not display.
When GovWin IQ is configured, the
Actions menu in the Opportunities hub includes an option for the user to connect to a GovWin IQ instance and import Opportunity records.

Updating and Syncing
Use the following fields to set up options for data updates and syncing for GovWin IQ integration. You must select the
Automatically Update
Opportunities from GovWin IQ option to enable the fields in this section.

Opportunities from GovWin IQ

Select this check box if you want to automatically update information for active
opportunities that were imported from GovWin IQ when information for those
opportunities changes in GovWin IQ. The updates occur once every 24 hours at a time you specify in
Next Schedued Import.
This option is only available if you have entered your GovWin IQ client ID and client secret.
The update process updates
opportunities with the Active status in
Deltek for which changes were made in GovWin IQ since the last time the process ran. Included in the update is information imported from GovWin IQ for related
firms and
contacts.
The update process does not update
Deltek for the following changes in GovWin IQ:
- Opportunity name change.
- Opportunity description change.
- Milestone date change.
- Milestone deletion. (However, it does add a new milestone in
Deltek if one is added in GovWin IQ.)

This field displays the last date and time that the process was run to update
opportunities with changes from GovWin IQ.

|
If you select
Automatically Update GovWin IQ Records, enter a valid GovWin IQ username (email address) that the update process can use to connect to GovWin IQ.

If you select
Automatically Update GovWin IQ Records, enter the password for the GovWin IQ username.

| Validate
|
Click
Validate
to validate the username and password for updating from GovWin IQ records.
Deltek runs the validation and displays a validation or synchronization successful message when complete.

| View Import Log
|
Click this link to view details from the most recent import log. This includes a table listing all data imports from the past month. Any imports that are older than one month are automatically purged from the table.

| Next Scheduled Import
|
This field displays the next date and time that the process will run to update
opportunities with changes from GovWin IQ. Click
 in this field, and select the time that you want the update process to run each day.
Most enterprises select a time outside of normal business hours to avoid performance issues.

| Security Role
|
Specify the security role for the users that should receive the error notification. This field includes all security roles that are configured for
Deltek.
|
| Sync Now
|
Select
Sync Now to manually run the data update.
The
Automatically Update GovWin IQ Records option must be checked to use this button.

Advanced Options
Use the following fields to set up advanced options for GovWin IQ integration.

Select this option for imported records to apply the screen designer required fields. When selected, new records will not be created if a required field is empty or not included in the import.
