Predefined Dashparts

Use predefined dashparts as a baseline for dashparts that you need to create or use them as is and add it to a dashboard.

Predefined dashparts are table dashparts that were pre-made for the purpose of having dashboard designers a sample dashpart that they can use when they start creating dashboards and dashparts in Dashboard Designer. Moreover, you can edit predefined dashparts and use it as a starting point or baseline for a dashpart that you have in mind. You can add or remove columns, change the column order and dashpart base as you would normally do for a table dashpart.

Dashboard Designer has a number of predefined or pre-made dashparts that are available at your disposal:

My Projects Displays the following information:
  • Project Name
  • Project Number
  • Client Name
  • Contact Name
  • Contact Phone
  • Contact Email
Project Financials at Billing This dashpart is available if the Accounting application is activated.
Displays the following information:
  • Project Name
  • Project Number
  • Client Name
  • Total Compensation
  • JTD Revenue
  • JTD Billed
  • JTD Amount Billing
  • JTD Variance
Project Financials at Cost This dashpart is available if the Accounting application is activated.
Displays the following information:
  • Project Name
  • Project Number
  • Client Name
  • Total Compensation
  • JTD Revenue
  • JTD Billed
  • JTD Amount Cost
  • JTD Profit
Opportunity List Displays the following information:
  • Opportunity Name
  • Organization Name
  • Type
  • Stage
  • Est. Revenue
  • Weighted Revenue
  • Est. Start Date
  • Est. Compl. Date
Opportunities Closing Soon This dashpart is available if:
  • You are a new Deltek client. This dashpart is not available for clients that migrated from other Deltek products.
  • If the Accounting application is activated.
Displays the following information based on opportunities that are not yet lost or won but has a probability of winning the opportunity at more than 90% :
  • Opportunity Name
  • Est. Revenue
  • Weighted Revenue
  • Probability
  • Stage
  • Owner Name
Project Profit % Displays the following information:
  • Project Name
  • Project Number
  • JTD Profit Percent
  • JTD Revenue
  • JTD Amount Cost
  • JTD Profit
AR - Top 10 Outstanding by Client This dashpart is available if:
  • You are a new Deltek client. This dashpart is not available for clients that migrated from other Deltek products.
  • If the Accounting application is activated.
Displays the AR - top 10 Outstanding by Client favorite report that is based on the Outstanding AR by Client report with specific settings to display the top 10 clients based on the accounts receivables. The report displays as a graph with the following information:
  • AR - JTD
  • Client
AR Aging This dashpart is available if:
  • You are a new Deltek client. This dashpart is not available for clients that migrated from other Deltek products.
  • If the Accounting application is activated.
Displays the following metric information:
  • Outstanding AR (Current)
  • Outstanding AR (31-60)
  • Outstanding AR (61-90)
  • Outstanding AR (91-120)
  • Outstanding AR (Over 121)
  • Total Outstanding AR
  • Average Age of Receivables
Bottom 5 Clients Revenue This dashpart is available if:
  • You are a new Deltek client. This dashpart is not available for clients that migrated from other Deltek products.
  • If the Accounting application is activated.
Displays the Bottom 5 Clients Revenue favorite report. The report displays a bar graph of the bottom 5 clients with for revenue by client with the following information:
  • Days Open - Opportunity
  • Opportunity Name
Top 5 Clients Revenue This dashpart is available if:
  • You are a new Deltek client. This dashpart is not available for clients that migrated from other Deltek products.
  • If the Accounting application is activated.
Displays the Top 5 Clients Revenue favorite report. The report displays a bar graph of the top 5 clients with for revenue by client with the following information:
  • Days Open - Opportunity
  • Opportunity Name
Employee Utilization YTD by Labor Category This dashpart is available for new Deltek clients and is not available for clients that migrated from other Deltek products.
Displays the Employee Utilization YTD by Labor Category report that is based on the Time Analysis report with specific settings. The following employee utilization information is displayed:
  • Total
  • Direct
  • Indirect
  • Direct/Total
  • Direct/(Total - Absence)
  • Target
  • Vacation
  • Sick
  • Holiday
  • Bus Dev
  • Civic
