Delete the Contents of a Project Plan
If necessary, you can delete the contents of a project plan, including all resource, expense type, and consultant type assignments, the related planned hours or amounts, and the baseline plan, leaving the project with an empty plan.
Note, however, that if actual job-to-date (JTD) hours or amounts exist for any of the assignments, those assignments remain in the plan along with the JTD data, though their planned hours and amounts are deleted.
To delete the contents of a project plan:
- In the Navigation pane, go to the Hubs section and click Projects.
- Select the project for which you want to delete the plan contents.
- Switch the Project/Plan toggle to Plan.
- On the Actions menu, click Check Out.
- On the Actions menu, click Delete Plan Data.
- When a confirmation message displays, click Yes to delete the plan contents.
