Revert a Qualified Contact to a Lead

If you accidentally qualified a contact, you can revert the record back to a lead.

This removes all relationships for the contact with projects, opportunities, or firms, and places the lead in an open status so that it can be qualified again at a later date. This does not remove associations with employees, activities, and campaigns.

To revert a qualified contact back to a lead:

  1. In the Navigation pane, go to the Hubs section and select Contacts.
  2. Use the search field above the contact name to search for and select the qualified or disqualified contact that you want to revert back to a lead.
  3. Locate the Qualified Status field on the Summary pane and click Revert to Lead. Or, click Actions > Revert to Lead. Any projects, opportunities, or firms associated to the contact are removed. This does not remove associations with employees, activities, and campaigns.
  4. Save your changes.
