Specify Skill Levels for a Resource Search
When you search for named resources based on skills, you can use the Set Skill Levels dialog box to specify the desired or required skill levels and frequency or duration of skill use for those skills.
To specify desired or required skill levels:

In the Find Resources pane, do either of the following:
- Select one or more skills in the Skills field and then click Set details below the field.
- Click Set details below the Skills field without selecting any skills first.
Result: The Set Skill Levels dialog box displays. if you selected skills in the Find Resources pane, they display in a grid.

If you did not select skills before displaying the dialog box, click
+ Add Skill and select a skil in the
Skill field.
If you did select the skills before displaying the dialog box, continue with the next step.
- To specify a required skill level (years of experience or level of proficiency using a skill, for example) for the first skill, select that level in the Skill Level field. You must select the skill levels one at a time, but you can select as many as you want for each skill.
- To specify a required skill usage (how frequently a resource uses the skill or how long a resource has used a skill) for the first skill, select that usage in the Skill Usage field. You must select the skill usage descriptions one at a time, but you can select as many as you want for each skill.
- If necessary, repeat steps 2 - 4 for other skills you are searching for.
- To add the skill level settings to the search, click Set.
