Generic Staff Import Fields
You can import generic resource data into the Deltek database. If the generic resource does not already exist in Deltek, it is added.
Contents
Field | Description/Notes |
---|---|
Code Size: 20 characters Type: Varchar |
(Required) Generic resource code. If no generic resource with a matching code exists in Deltek, the import process creates a new generic resource record. If a generic resource with a matching code already exists in Deltek and you select the Update duplicate records option, the import process updates fields in Deltek for that generic resource based on the data in the .CSV file. If this field is blank, the record is not imported and an error message displays. |
Name Size: 50 characters Type: Varchar |
(Required) Generic resource name (for example, Engineer II). If this field is blank, the record is not imported and an error message displays. |
Organization Size: 30 characters Type: Varchar |
Organization ID. If your firm sets up organizations in Deltek and you include a value in the organization field for a generic resource, it must match an existing organization ID exactly, and that organization ID must be at the lowest level of the organization structure. If an organization in this field does not match an existing organization in Deltek, the record is imported without an organization, and a warning displays. |
Labor Category Size: 10 characters Type: Varchar |
Labor category code. If the labor category code does not match an existing labor category code in Deltek, the record is imported without the labor category code, and a warning displays. |
Status Size: See notes. Type: Varchar |
Status code. Valid values are A (Active) and I (Inactive). If this field is blank for a new generic resource or contains an invalid value, the generic resource is assigned the Active status, and a warning displays. |
