Federal Withholding

Use the Federal Withholding screen to provide information that your employer needs to withhold the correct Federal income tax from your pay; specifically, your filing status, allowances, and additional withholding amount.

Your Federal withholding is based on two things:

• The amount you earn.
• The information that you provide to your employer about your filing status and allowances.

  If events occur that change your filing status or the exemptions that you expect to claim on your tax return, update this screen accordingly.
