Dep Beneficiaries Inactivate Dialog Box

Use the Inactivate Dependents/Beneficiaries Benefits dialog box to deactivate dependents/beneficiaries. It displays all the affected benefits of the dependent/beneficiary during inactivation.

On the main Dependents/Beneficiaries screen, select the check box for the row that displays the name of the dependent/beneficiary that you want to inactivate. Then select the Inactivate button on the row where the check box is selected to launch this screen.

You must select the Confirm button to save the inactivation to the system.

The tables that appear on this dialog box are determined by data in the system that is tied to the selected dependent/beneficiary being inactivated:

  • If you access this screen from a Life Event, the tables will be: Current Benefit Coverage, Life Event Elections, Current Beneficiary Assignments, and Life Event Beneficiary Assignments.
  • If you access this screen from a Benefits Enrollment, the tables will be: Current Benefit Coverage, Benefit Enrollment Elections, Current Beneficiary Assignments and Benefit Enrollment Beneficiary Assignments.

    This screen will not be available if you have accessed the Dependents/Beneficiaries screen from the menu.
