The Pipeline summary analytics provide a comparison of the current pipeline, broken down by stage, to the pipeline amounts for the prior week or month. The Variance column displays the percentage of change between the two amounts, and the arrows in the last column indicate the trend direction for each stage. If your review of the summary pipeline data suggests the need for more detailed analysis, click Pipeline to go to the Current Pipeline tab in Capture Analytics. The Pipeline summary analytics are not displayed if either of the following are true:

Data Item |
Description |
Prior pipeline |
The total historical unweighted pipeline amount for the stage for the week or month prior to the current week or month. Whether the prior pipeline amount is for the previous week or month depends on whether Capture Analytics is configured to display historical pipeline by week or month. |
Current pipeline |
The total current unweighted pipeline amount for the stage, as of the last time GovWin Capture Management data was loaded into the Capture Analytics data model. |
Variance |
Percentage of change in the pipeline amount for the stage since the preceding week or month: ((Current pipeline amount – Prior pipeline amount) ÷ Prior pipeline amount) × 100 Positive values indicate an increase in the pipeline. Negative values indicate a decrease. The trend arrow to the right of the column also indicates the direction of the change. |
When your firm implements Capture Analytics, it can select two amount fields from opportunity records in GovWin Capture Management to analyze as pipeline. Those two amount fields are available for selection above the table. When you select one of the options, the table displays summary pipeline amounts calculated from amounts in that field in the opportunity records.
If your firm has set up grouped stages for Capture Analytics, use the Detail and Grouped options to view pipeline data either for the original GovWin Capture Management opportunity stages (detail stages) or for the grouped stages. When you select the Grouped option, the table displays pipeline amounts for the grouped stages.
The Year, Quarter, and Period options on the Summary Dashboard tab do not apply to the Pipeline summary analytics. The current pipeline amounts in the Pipeline summary analytics are always as of the latest date that GovWin Capture Management data was loaded into the Capture Analytics data model.
If you filter the Summary Dashboard by selecting organizations in the Owning Org list and then click the Pipeline link to go to the Current Pipeline Analytics, the organization selections are not carried into the Current Pipeline tab. However, the option to view pipeline by detail or grouped stage and the pipeline amount option are automatically applied to that tab.
By default, GovWin Capture Management does not require entry of an organization for opportunities. As a result, all opportunities may not be linked to an organization. This in turn affects the display of the Pipeline summary analytics on the Summary Dashboard tab:
If Capture Analytics security gives you access to opportunities for all organizations, the Pipeline summary analytics, if you have not applied an organization filter, include opportunities that are not assigned to an organization. Once you select specific organizations in the Owning Org list, opportunities without an organization are excluded along with opportunities for the other unselected organizations.
If Capture Analytics security gives you access only to a specific set of organizations, the Pipeline summary analytics will never include opportunities that are not assigned to any organization.
Your selections on the User Options tab affect the Pipeline summary in the following way:
