Filter by Project Attributes

Using the options grouped under Additional Filters, you can filter the data in Projects at Risk Analytics by any combination of the following project attributes:

For each attribute, you can select one or more attribute values. For example, if you want to view risk information for projects with either of two project types, you can select those types in the Project Type list, and the analytics display risk information only for projects assigned one of those two types.

If you select one or more attribute values and then go to another Costpoint Analytics tab for which those filter options are available, Costpoint Analytics automatically filters those analytics for the same values.

Available Project Attribute Values

The project types, project managers, and customers for which you can analyze data are determined by the organizations to which you are given access in Costpoint Analytics. The filter lists include only those attribute values that are assigned to one or more projects owned by the organizations to which you have access.

Top-Level Project Manager and Project Manager

You can filter project risk data based on the manager of the top-level project, the manager of the risk-level project, or both:

If you filter by top-level project manager, the analytics include data for all risk-level projects that belong to the selected managers' top-level projects, regardless of the managers assigned to those risk-level projects. If you filter by risk-level project, the analytics only include data for the selected risk-level projects.

One result of this is that if you filter by top-level project manager and view data by top-level project, you see complete data for the top-level projects. If, however, you filter by risk-level project manager and view data by top-level project, you may see incomplete data for a top-level project if your filter does not include all of the risk-level project managers for that top-level project.

Select Attribute Values

To focus on one or a selected group of project types, project managers, and customers, select those attribute values in the corresponding filter list. When you do, the analytics display risk information only for projects that have the selected attributes.
