The Trending DSO Detail table displays the 90-day DSO value as of the end of each fiscal period in the analysis period, along with the amounts used to calculate that DSO value. |

If the Trending DSO Detail table is not visible, click the Unbilled and DSO tab:
The data items actually displayed in this table depend in part on the DSO formula your firm uses. For example, if your firm uses revenue for the last three periods in the calculation rather than billing for the last three periods, the table does not have a column for billing amounts.
Data Item |
Description |
AR balance |
Total AR as of the end of the fiscal period. |
Unbilled |
Total unbilled as of the end of the fiscal period: ITD revenue – ITD billing These amounts display only if you include unbilled in the DSO calculation. If prior year revenue adjustments are included in the PSR tables, ITD revenue amounts may include those revenue adjustments, depending on how Costpoint Analytics is configured. For more information, see Adjustment Period. |
Billing for last three periods |
Sum of invoice amounts for invoices posted in the latest period in the analysis period and the two previous periods. These amounts display only if you use billing rather than revenue to calculate DSO. |
Revenue for last three periods |
Total revenue for the latest period in the analysis period and the two previous periods. These amounts display only if you use revenue rather than billing to calculate DSO. If prior year revenue adjustments are included in the PSR tables, revenue amounts may include those revenue adjustments, depending on how Costpoint Analytics is configured. DSO |
90-day DSO value as of the end of the latest period in the analysis period. |
Note: In two situations, Costpoint Analytics displays dashes (–) instead of unbilled and DSO values:
If you make selections in either the Invoice Aging Ranges list or the Invoice ID list. Because those selections filter the analytics at the invoice level, meaningful unbilled and DSO values cannot be calculated. The lowest level that unbilled and DSO values are calculated is the top project level.
If the Costpoint Analytics data model does not contain the revenue amounts required to calculate the unbilled and DSO values.
