Use the Dimensions lists to select the dimensions by which you want to break down metric values in the Ad Hoc Data Discovery table.
When you select a dimension, Costpoint Analytics adds a column for it before the first metric column.
For other most other analytics, you can display data either by owning organization or by performing organization, using the Org View user option to switch from one to the other. For Ad Hoc Data Discovery, sets of dimensions are available for both types of organizations, so you can display data by both owning organization and performing organization side by side.
If Costpoint Analytics is configured to include project user-defined fields (UDEFs), up to five ID or Test UDEFs are available as dimensions for data discovery. Other types of UDEFs are not available for use as dimensions.
For each UDEF, the Dimensions list displays two dimensions, one for the top project level and the second for the revenue level. For example, for a SUBCONTRACTOR1 UDEF, the list would include SUBCONTRACTOR1_TOP and SUBCONTRACTOR1_REV.
Scroll the list to locate the dimension, or right-click the list and select Search to search for it.
Click the dimension.

Click the first dimension, and then press CTRL as you click each of the other dimensions.
You can also click each dimension without pressing the CTRL key. If you use this method, it is recommended that you pause after each selection to let the table update before you select the next dimension.
