Udef 1-5

If you set up Costpoint Analytics to use project user-defined fields (UDEFs) as filter options, cycle options, or table columns, you can assign values for the any of those UDEFs to your proposals.

The UDEF values must be in the column that corresponds to the UDEF field in Costpoint Analytics – Project Configuration and the columns must be in numeric order. For example, if you want to assign values to a proposal for UDEFs 1 and 4 as defined in Costpoint Analytics – Project Configuration, you must meet the following requirements:

  • The value for UDEF 1 must be in the Udef1 column in this spreadsheet.

  • The Udef2 and Udef3 columns must be blank.

  • The value for UDEF 4 must be in the Udef4 column.

Note: Make sure that the UDEFs for which you specify values here are also set up in the same sequence in Costpoint Analytics – Project Configuration. The data load process will fail if you enter values in this file but do not also define the corresponding project UDEF when you configure Costpoint Analytics.
