Use the ProposalAttributes.xlsx file to specify proposal numbers and other attributes so you can load proposal data into Costpoint Analytics.

Enter the proposal ID. This should not be a project ID that is set up in Costpoint. |
Company ID |
Enter the company ID of the company that owns the proposal. |
Proposal name |
Enter a proposal name or description. |
Owning Org |
Enter the organization code of the organization that owns the proposal. |
Project Manager |
Enter the employee ID of the project manager assigned to the proposal. |
Customer |
Enter the customer ID of the customer that is associated with the proposal. |
Project Type |
Enter the project type of the proposal (T&M or CPFF, for example). |

If you set up Costpoint Analytics to use project user-defined fields (UDEFs) as filter options, cycle options, or table columns, you can assign values for the any of those UDEFs to your proposals. The UDEF values must be in the column that corresponds to the UDEF field in Costpoint Analytics – Project Configuration and the columns must be in numeric order. For example, if you want to assign values to a proposal for UDEFs 1 and 4 as defined in Costpoint Analytics – Project Configuration, you must meet the following requirements:
Note: Make sure that the UDEFs for which you specify values here are also set up in the same sequence in Costpoint Analytics – Project Configuration. The data load process will fail if you enter values in this file but do not also define the corresponding project UDEF when you configure Costpoint Analytics. |
