Enter Work Order Reliefs

Use this screen to relieve the part and issue it to the Service Request using one of the following relief options that are determined during work order creation:

  • Relieve to Service Request -- Relieves the part and issues it directly to the Service Request.

  • Relieve to Inventory -- Relieves the part to the Furnished Abbreviation specified in the Allocations subtask.

  • Cost Only Relief -- Relieves the cost by updating costs without moving inventory quantity.

For Relieve to Service Request, enter a To Location and a Service Request Relief Quantity.

When you save the record:

  • The relief transaction is created.

  • An Issue to Service Request transaction is automatically created, issuing the Work Order part to the Service Request.

  • The Service Request cost is updated based on the value of the relieved Work Order part.

This process ensures that the part is relieved according to the selected relief option and that associated Service Request costs are updated accordingly.

Note: When in field mode, avoid clicking the Autoload button as fields are automatically populated. You can continue with the transaction after the error message is displayed.

Use this screen as required to relieve completed work order parts. This screen has the following tabs:

  • WO Details: Use this tab to review the work order, part, quantity, and relief transaction details.

  • Partial Relief: Use this tab to select the relief destination and enter the service request relief details when applicable.

  • Notes: Use this tab to enter notes for the relief transaction.

  • Allow Charges: Use this tab to modify charges for a selected WO.
