Costpoint Help

Enter Service Request Issues

When you save an issue transaction, Costpoint issues the selected components to the service request and updates the related costs on the service request.

Use this screen to issue components that were added to the Components subtask of a service request line.

If a component is a dropshipment (DRP) item, enter the cost on the issue so the cost is reflected in the overall cost of the service request.

The inventory abbreviation from the Service Request Components subtask defaults into the issue and can be changed if needed. After you save the transaction, you cannot delete or update it. If you need to undo an issue, use Reverse Transaction.

If you reverse an issue, the component requirement is reopened, but Costpoint does not create a new reservation. To issue a part on this screen, the component must already be listed in the Components subtask for the service request line.

You can issue components for one service request line or for all service request lines included in the transaction.
