Substitute Parts Subtask
Use the Substitute Parts subtask to view substitute part information for a selected component part.
Establish and maintain component substitute parts on the Manage Parts screen.
Note: If the selected component line contains a provisional part, this subtask is disabled.

| Field | Description |

| Sequence | The sequence, in the order of preference, is displayed in this field. |
| Substitute Part | The substitute part that can be exchanged for this component is displayed in this field. |
| Rev | This field displays the revision of the substitute part. |
| Description | This field displays the description of the substitute part. |
| Interchangeable | This field displays Y (for Yes) or N (for No), indicating whether or not this substitute is completely interchangeable with the specified component. |
| U/M | This field displays the unit of measure of the substitute part. |
| Make/Buy | This field displays M (Make) or B (Buy) status of the substitute part. |
