Subtasks of the Manage General Shipments Screen
The Manage General Shipments has several subtasks.
Shipment Lines: Use the Shipment Lines subtask to enter, review, and maintain the items included in the shipment. Each row represents a part being shipped and records identifying information, quantities, pricing details, and tracking information.
Standard Text: Use the Standard Text subtask to associate predefined standard text entries with the shipment. Standard text can be used to include commonly used instructions, notes, terms, conditions, or other predefined messages on shipment documents.
You can add multiple standard text entries to a shipment and control whether each entry is active and how it is printed on shipment documents.
