Print Job Category Analysis Report

From the Print Job Category Analysis Report screen, you can print a statistical analysis of the presence of minority and female employees in each functional job title based upon either the Job Category code or the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) code found in the Salary Info and History table.

Job Category and EEO codes are assigned to Functional Job Titles on the Manage Functional Job Titles screen. A Detail Job Title (which is assigned with a Functional Job Title) is assigned to an employee record on the Manage Employee Salary Information screen.

This screen loads functional job title data from employee records that have a matching affirmative action code. The report prints each functional job title by job category and will include the summary job title, functional job title, functional job title description, EEO Code or job category code, and minority and female employee totals and percentages. This report indicates either a proper commitment to equal opportunity and affirmative action or an under-representation.

You can print this report after entering employees on the Manage Employee Information screen and after assigning them to an affirmative action code, detail job title, and an EEO code or job category code on the HR Info of the Employee Salary Information screen.

After you populate this screen and click the Print > Preview or Print button from the toolbar, the application selects those employees that are assigned to the specified Affirmative Action Plan as of the Coverage Start Date, and employed as of the Effective Date.

Additionally, if the Employee Salary Information option is selected on the Configure Affirmative Action Settings screen, employees are selected according to the following criteria:

  • The employee record's Affirmative Action Plan is the same as the specified Affirmative Action Plan on this screen.
  • The Effective Date (on this screen) falls within the Effective Date and End Date for the employee record on the Manage Employee Salary Information screen.
  • The Effective Date is Term Date check box is not selected for the employee record on the Manage Employee Salary Information screen.

If the Basic Employee Information option is selected on the Configure Affirmative Action Settings screen, employees are selected according to the following criteria:

  • The employee record's Affirmative Action Plan is the same as the specified Affirmative Action Plan in this screen.
  • The Effective Date (in this screen) falls within the Effective Date and End Date for the employee record on the Manage Employee Salary Information screen.
  • On the Manage Employee Information screen, the employee's Termination date is null or is after this screen's Effective Date, or
  • The employee's Current Hire date or Adj Hire date is the same as, or earlier than, this screen's Effective Date.
