In stand-alone installations of Time & Expense, use this screen to enter, view, or update basic information for UDT09s.
Basic Information Fields
If your version of Time & Expense is co-deployed with Costpoint, all UDT09 field values are display-only and are maintained directly within Costpoint.

UDT09 |
Enter a 20-character, uppercase alphanumeric UDT09 code. Each code must be unique. Note: The number of characters you enter cannot exceed the size that was set up in the
General Settings,
UDT Labels
subtask for
UDT09.

Description |
Enter up to 30 characters for a UDT09 description. You should make descriptions as short as possible and properly capitalize them because they are used in drop-downs, Lookups, and as column headings for reports and inquiries. |
Abbreviation |
Enter a unique abbreviation for this UDT09. It can be up to 20 characters. If, in the General Settings screen, you have configured the system to use abbreviations, this field is optional. If you do not enter an abbreviation here and try to save a record, the warning UDT09 abbreviations are turned on and you have not supplied an abbreviation displays. |
Costpoint Company | Click
to select a Costpoint company. This lookup is enabled only if you selected the
Costpoint Multicompany check box in the
Miscellaneous tab of the
General Settings screen. See the Concept Topic: Costpoint Multicompany for details on this feature.
If the lookup is enabled, select the Costpoint Company name that you wish to associate with this UDT09. If you are working on a new UDT09, the first Costpoint company in the list is the default value. If Costpoint Multicompany is turned on and you are searching existing records, the first value to search on will be Costpoint Company. |
Company Name | This field displays the name of the selected Costpoint company. |

Select this check box if the UDT09 is active. |
