Copy User-Defined Information from One Project into Other Projects

You can use the Mass Add Project Master Data screen to copy user-defined information from one project into other projects.

To copy user-defined information from one project into other projects:

  1. On the Mass Add Project Master Data screen, enter the Template Project (the source project for which you entered the user-defined information).
  2. Enter the appropriate projects in the Destination Project fields.
  3. Clear the Include Basic Info check box.
  4. In the Include box, highlight the User Defined Tables option.
  5. Click the Fill Table button to load the appropriate projects in the table.
  6. Click to copy the data.

This function can be used for sequential project ranges only. For example, if you enter user-defined data for project 1000.01 and want to copy the data to projects 1000.02 and 1000.05, you would have to run the Mass Add process twice because 1000.02 and 1000.05 are not sequential. If you were copying the user-defined data from 1000.01 to 1000.02, 1000.03, 1000.04, and 1000.05, you could execute the process once.
